Monday Mischief: What your Kat does when you’re not home

Greetings Humans! 😺 ☕️

If you look at the picture above, you can see that a very unFURtunate dragonfly was caught by the “Nut Bucket”–  (Twitchy Twilight) and became our toy while the human was outside reading yesterday.

You can imagine her surprise when she came inside and Twilight’s “offering” was laid at her feet expectancy by Nut Bucket, who immediately slammed her paw down on its fluttering wing to keep it from escaping before the human could partake of her “snack.”

Nut Bucket couldn’t understand why the human didn’t pounce on it and have lunch.

In fact, she was really not that thrilled that Twitchy brought it inside at all – but if she thinks THAT is bad, she should see what most kats do when their humans aren’t home! 😹

Here’s a few examples;

See? What we did isn’t so bad!! 😹

  1. Ehi you! A dragonfly, you!, not-so-lovely TT and a female blackbird your furriend Fritz here in the middle of the night! Feathers everywhere! And kaos and screams to capture the poor frightened winged thing! 😦
    Fortunately, the big bidep saved it just in time 🙂
    Happy Monday!

  2. Lovely post. So much has happened in just over a year. Early last year I was, sadly, sans chat! A terrible state for one to be in. I had been looking. In May 2016, on my way to the beach, my car veered off over to the Port-la-Nouvelle S.P.A. and that is where I was adopted by a seven month old young lady named Mademoiselle Colette. Now you do understand how boring humans can be so three months later a friend took me with her to the S.P.A. in Narbonne where I met Colette’s new ‘sister’ Madame Simone. Alas after great suffering as I attended the computer instead of them, they collaborated and come up with a blog of their own. I have been given the honor of being typist. Naturally, all errors are human and will be dealt with.
